Salary Range $107,914 - $139,654

What We’re Looking For:
We seek a Senior Research Scientist Clinical Investigator for our Innovation & Sciences Solutions team focused on the Healthy Aging & Healthy Skin platforms. At Amway, “Solutions” integrate products, behavioral and lifestyle interventions and community, to improve overall health and well-being. In partnership with Product Development, Sciences, and Marketing teams, you will use your creative problem-solving skills and knowledge of human physiology to develop new solutions that deliver desired health outcomes.
Working in ambiguity, challenging status quo, and leveraging internal and external expertise you will deliver new approaches and new health and well being outcomes. Your clinical experience and background will enable you to design and lead studies, or outline the study requirements that demonstrate and validate the science behind our solutions. Merging science with our business needs, you will translate your research into a solution profile and story. Additionally, you will distill complex scientific and technical concepts into easy-to-understand language and themes to create a positive experience for our Amway Business Owners (ABO’s) and consumers. You will have broad exposure to a wide variety of global stakeholders that influence the future of our business. Balancing collaboration with the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment is vitally important at Amway. We currently designate 3 days, Tuesday-Thursday as onsite collaboration days and require onsite campus attendance on those days.
Required qualifications:
- Minimum BS with six years’ of experience or advanced degree (MS with 3 years’ experience or PhD with 1 – 2 years’ industry experience) in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nutrition, Pharmacology, Molecular Biology or related scientific discipline
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in scientific research, methods, analysis and data interpretation and/or publication
- Ability to translate complex scientific and technical concepts into consumer appropriate language that offers clarity/understanding on the technology and science for underlying solutions
Skills to be successful in the role:
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with and influence a wide range of stakeholders
- RD (Registered Dietician) or ACRP (Association of Clinical Research Professionals) CTI or CRA certification helpful
- Experience leading clinical studies with patient reported outcomes in an industry setting helpful
- Experience with Skincare and Nutrition helpful
