The Sourcing and Labor Market Specialist is responsible for developing and executing strategies to identify, engage, and attract top talent in alignment with the organization’s hiring needs. This role combines sourcing expertise with labor market analysis to target specific talent pools, optimize talent pipelines, and support proactive recruitment efforts. This role will work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and external partners to stay ahead of hiring trends and ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to build robust talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
Engage with passive candidates and build relationships to keep them warm for potential future opportunities.
Source candidates for high-complexity requisitions more efficiently.
Leverage knowledge of special talent segments to develop networks and talent pools.
Prioritize the most productive sourcing channels for target profile(s).
Base sourcing strategy on competitive analysis.
Organize candidate knowledge by talent segment(s).
Provide recommendations on strategic sourcing initiatives based on labor market conditions and workforce trends.
Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand specific hiring needs and align sourcing strategies with organizational goals.
Provide insights and updates on sourcing effectiveness and market trends to leadership, contributing to the overall talent acquisition strategy.
Requirements:
Expertise in advanced sourcing methods, Boolean search, and candidate engagement.
Strong understanding of labor market dynamics, economic conditions, and workforce trends.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage passive candidates and build relationships.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze labor market data and provide actionable insights.
Proficiency in sourcing and market analysis tools, databases, and platforms.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple sourcing projects concurrently.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in talent sourcing, labor market research, or recruiting.
Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, labor market trends, and economic factors influencing talent availability.
Experience with recruitment technologies such as ATS, CRM, and other sourcing tools.
Fintech industry experience preferred.
Workday experience preferred.
