ABOUT THE ROLE

The DUI Intervention Specialist is a direct service position which provides Drug and Alcohol assessments for the DUI Program at Pittsburgh Mercy sites. This position provides direct clinical services to individuals in DUI, DUI Court, and Drug Court programs, including substance use assessments, CBT-based group facilitation, and care coordination. Ensures compliance with state, county, and organizational standards while supporting positive outcomes and community partnerships.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Complete drug and alcohol assessments for DUI program participant
  • Facilitate CBT-based psychoeducational groups for DUI/DUI Court clients
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and data entry per program requirements
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with community stakeholders
  • Provide support and technical assistance to other professionals

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in an approved human service (social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, education, criminal justice, nursing, social sciences and related disciplines) plus one (1) year of relevant experience providing direct care.

OR Bachelor’s degree in an approved human service (social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, education, criminal justice, nursing, social sciences and related disciplines) plus three (3) years of relevant experience providing direct care.

POSITION HIGHIGHTS/BENEFITS

WORK SCHEDULE: This is a Full Time Non-Exempt position

37.5-hour workweek, Tuesday–Saturday, primarily daytime • Evening hours required based on program needs
