Corewell Health West's Department of Neurological Health is seeking to hire a full-time, fellowship trained Neuroimmunologist to join their established team of providers and neuropsychologists. The ideal candidate is looking for a robust clinical practice with great support and an interest in teaching neurology residents. Future department leadership opportunities are available.
Select Position Highlights:
100% outpatient practice which includes a fellowship trained neuroimmunologist, dedicated APPs, and neuropsychologists
Great patient base with a large catchment area
Onsite PT, OT and social work
Onsite Infusion clinic
Practice anticipated to grow quickly to be 100% MS / neuroimmunology
Neurology residency program teaching opportunities

Qualifications: MD/DO, BC/BE Neurology, Fellowship Trained in Neuroimmunology, ability to obtain a full Michigan medical license
Essential Functions
- Assesses and monitors the medical needs of patients/significant others.
- Provides quality medical services to patients in a cost effective, appropriate manner and ensures coverage of case load at all times.
- Provides input into the development of policies and procedures as they related to medical practice and quality patient care.
- Provides oversight of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners and others providing delegated services to patients.
- Evaluates patients'/significant others'/staff educational needs and develops and implements appropriate teaching strategies or delegates to appropriate resources.
- Documents in a manner consistent with regulatory standards.
- Communicates with other members of the health care team in order to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services. Acts as a patient/family advocate.
- Participates in ongoing process improvement activities through the development/application of clinical paths, process improvement and other related activities.
Actively works with Spectrum Health to meet financial and patient satisfaction goals.
Qualifications
- Required Bachelor's Degree
- LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or
- LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required
- CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required
