Axios Professional Recruitment is partnered with a healthcare client in Grand Rapids/Kentwood who is actively looking to hire qualified individuals for a Part-Time Registered Nurse or LPN career who are ready to start right away! The ideal candidate will be able to dispense methadone doses, monitor patient health, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Registered Nurse Responsibilities:
• Methadone Dispensation - Dispense methadone doses as ordered by the program physician.
• Health Monitoring - Observe and assess patients' physical and mental health during methadone dispensing.
• Record Keeping - Maintain accurate records of dispensed doses and update patient medical records.
• Specimen Management - Handle and prepare urine and blood specimens for lab testing.
• Equipment Oversight - Monitor and calibrate dosing equipment to ensure correct dosage.
Registered Nurse Qualifications:
To be considered for the Registered Nurse position, applicants should:
• Hold a valid RN or LPN license
• Have current CPR or BLS certification
• Possess up-to-date knowledge of addiction issues, Hepatitis C, and HIV
• Demonstrate proficiency in computer use, including word processing and database management
• Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
