Axios Professional Recruitment is partnered with a local law firm, who is actively looking to hire a qualified Intake & Scheduling Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be highly professional and self-motivated, will hold legal experience, be well-organized, tech savvy, friendly, and more.
Intake & Scheduling Coordinator responsibilities:
Scheduling Independent Medical Exams
- Discuss what type of IME(s) is/are needed with the attorney.
- Contact IME vendor to schedule appointment and provide them with Plaintiff's information.
- Once confirmation of the IME has been received by the IME vendor:
- Prepare Notice,
- Calculate mileage to/from IME from Plaintiff’s current address,
- Request check for mileage, and
- Send form letter to counsel along with Notice and mileage check(s).
- Add IME date and Hx letter due dates to calendar and list of IME's.
- Copy cd's containing appropriate films.
- Prepare letter to doctor(s) and upload letter and records to IME vendor.
- Send copy of films to IME vendor along with Hx letter.
- Once the IME report is received from the doctor, send form letter to counsel and to Claim Rep along with copy of IME report.
Scheduling Depositions
- Contact all counsel to schedule a date for a deposition and add to calendar immediately.
- Prepare Notices and send to all counsel.
- Send Notice to Court Reporter, via email.
- Send form letter to Claim Rep to advise of depositions.
- Schedule a pre-deposition telephone conference with the insured. Send form letter to insured.
Intake & Scheduling Coordinator Qualifications:
To be considered for the Intake & Scheduling Clerk position, applicants should:
- 1-3 years of Legal experience is required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must have organizational skills
- Handle several things at once without frustration
- Use computer and office equipment efficiently
- Lift 30 pounds without problems to place things on a shelf 3-6 feet high
- Work under time restraints and pressure
